Hi, thank you for your comments. He was diagnosed with paranoid schizophrenia. As I said in the story, he was also an undiagnosed autistic as a youngster, which likely made his communication more problematic. But when he was already in the secure psychiatric hospital, he was observed to be delusional. For example, he would comment quite seriously about the visits he was having from senior members of the British Royal family. I think it would be reasonable to suppose that he did not always have a firm grasp on reality.
May I ask about your comment that he would have a death certificate with cause of death as suicide? I didn’t understand. Thanks.
