Hi, thanks for responding. There have been reported comments from this guy on why, having successfully swerved involvement in criminality, he then ended up being embroiled anyhow. It could well be, as you suggest, simple greed. This would not be the first public servant to see just how rich and how quickly others are getting and want ‘some of that’. Maybe that’s what happened. Of course the risk, as here, is that you end up not with more, but with even less than you started with.
